Library patrons now have access to free online courses offered by top universities such as MIT, Notre Dame and Johns Hopkins.

More than 3,000 courses are available, many featuring video lectures, materials and exams. The courses are arranged by subject and can be searched.

The courses are offered courtesy of the non-profit organization Statestats.org.
