Youth Summer Reading 2023 Print

Well, reading should never end (in our opinion), but the library's Youth Summer Reading Program has begun.

All children — from newborns to 12-year-olds — are invited to read for fun and prizes this summer. The first 100 families that register receive a free yard sign. All children who register will receive a packet with reading logs, coupons, etc.

The Summer Reading Program runs through July 31. This year's theme is "All Together Now."

The library also is hosting weekly storytimes through the end of July. See the schedule below.

Storytime programs follow this schedule:

 FamilyMondays   5-6 pm
 2- & 3-year-olds Tuesdays   10:30-11 am
 2- & 3-year-olds Wednesdays  10:30-11 am
 6- & 7-year-olds
Wednesdays
   2-3 pm
 4- & 5-year-olds Thursdays   10:30-11:15 am
 8- & 9-year-olds
Thursdays
   2-3 pm

Note: An adult caregiver is required to stay with 2- and 3-year-olds during their programs.
