The library is offering a multitude of those, plus numerous prizes for children 12 and under during its Summer Reading event, Unearth A Story.

You are able to register at any time, with all children who register receiving a bag that includes reading logs, coupons, etc., and a library yard sign.

Unearth A Story runs through July 31. Children can earn prizes just for reading and filling out and returning their logs during this time.

The library also is hosting weekly storytimes through July 31, as well as a Tween Hangout ideal for 10- to 12-year-olds. The hourlong sessions at 2 p.m. each Tuesday will feature free snacks and activities.
