Patrons are allowed in the building with limitations as the library continues with Phase 2 of its re-opening plan.
The library currently is open from noon to 6 p.m. weekdays, 1-4 Saturday. We also are offering curbside pickup during these hours.
The library strives to continue to provide excellent customer service while also maintaining a safe environment for the staff, patrons and community because the novel coronavirus remains a serious concern.
All staff members and all patrons over the age of 10 (who are able) are required to wear masks. Disposable masks are available near the front entrance, along with hand sanitizer.
To help ensure that we can follow social distancing rules within the library, we are limiting the total number of patrons allowed in at any one time to 12. Visit times are limited to a maximum of 1 hour.
A limited number of computers are available for public use for up
to 1 hour. Keyboards and mice will be cleaned after each use.
Items must be returned in the library bookdrops in the front of the building, the slot at the Circulation Desk, or the return bins in the side parking lot. Following recommendations of the Institute of Museum and Library Services, all returned items are isolated for at least three days before they are checked in and returned to the collection. (Following the results of a recent study, magazines and board books are now being isolated for at least four days before they are checked in and returned to the collection.) The items will remain on your account during this time. Please remember everyone has a role to play in reducing the spread of COVID-19 and staying healthy. Please stay home if you are exhibiting signs of the flu or if you are not feeling well. We invite you to explore everything we have to offer on our website.
