|Library now open|
Patrons are allowed in the building with limitations as the library enters Phase 2 of its re-opening plan.
We will continue with limited hours from noon to 6 p.m. weekdays, 1-4 Saturday. We also will continue to offer curbside pickup during these hours.
The library strives to continue to provide excellent customer service while also maintaining a safe environment for the staff, patrons and community because the novel coronavirus remains a serious concern.
All staff members are required to wear masks to help protect our patrons. We strongly encourage patrons to wear masks to help protect our staff. Disposable masks will be available near the front entrance, along with hand sanitizer.
To help ensure that we can follow social distancing rules within the library, we will be limiting the total number of patrons allowed in at any one time to 12. Visit times will be limited to a maximum of 1 hour.
A limited number of computers will be available for public use for up
to 1 hour. Keyboards and mice will be cleaned after each use.
Items must be returned in the library bookdrops in the front of the building or the slot at the Circulation Desk. Following recommendations of the Institute of Museum and Library Services, all returned items will be isolated for at least three days before they are checked in and returned to the collection. The items will remain on your account during this time.
We currently plan to continue with Phase 2 through at least July 11.Please remember everyone has a role to play in reducing the spread of COVID-19 and staying healthy. Please stay home if you are exhibiting signs of the flu or if you are not feeling well. We invite you to explore everything we have to offer on our website.
