The open enrollment period for those interested in purchasing insurance on the health care exchange is scheduled to close March 31.
As part of the Affordable Health Care Act, U.S. citizens and legal residents are required to have qualifying health coverage.
Ohio residents use the federal exchange to purchase health insurance at Healthcare.gov. Assistance also is available by calling the toll-free number 1-800-318-2596.
