The library is offering curbside service only.

With Clinton County remaining at Level 3 Red and the high rate of COVID-19 cases in the county, the library has decided to close the inside of the building to the public until further notice. This is to help ensure the safety of the staff and to do our part to help stop the spread of the virus.

Curbside service is available from noon to 6 p.m. weekdays, 1-4 Saturday.

Patrons may reserve items at any time through the library's online catalog, the COOL Libraries app, or by sending a list of items by e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ). Patrons also may call the library at 937.783.3585 during library hours to reserve items. Patrons will be notified when their items are ready to pick up. Just call the library to let us know you are here to pick up your items, and your bag of items will be brought to your car.

Also, if you would like a staff member to copy or fax documents for you, just call the library when you are here and someone will meet you at the front door to get the items and money.

Items must be returned in the library bookdrops in the front of the building or the return bins in the side parking lot. Following recommendations of the Institute of Museum and Library Services, all returned items are isolated for at least three days before they are checked in and returned to the collection. (Following the results of a recent study, magazines and board books are now being isolated for at least four days before they are checked in and returned to the collection.) The items will remain on your account during this time. Please remember everyone has a role to play in reducing the spread of COVID-19 and staying healthy. Please stay home if you are exhibiting signs of the flu or if you are not feeling well. We invite you to explore everything we have to offer on our website. You have access to movies through Kanopy and can download eBooks and audiobooks through the Ohio Digital Library.
