Please plan to join us at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, when the library hosts "The Power of Books" by Isa Fernandez and Kenzie Hahn. Fernandez is the book buyer and Hahn a bookseller at The Bookmatters, a new independent bookstore in downtown Milford.

We invite everyone to read the 2023 Clinton County Reads selection and come together to participate in this year's event running through April 20.

In The Sentence, Erdrich details the life of a small independent bookstore in Minneapolis that is haunted by a former annoying customer during a pivotal year for the store and the city. The library has multiple copies of the book available for checkout.

We will explore the book more in-depth at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 13, as The Sentence is the featured title for the Booklovers monthly discussion at the library.
