Teen Summer Reading 2025
Active ImageTeens have several opportunities to win prizes this summer at the library just for reading — or completing a few fun activities.

All young adults ages 13 to 18 can pick up a registration tumbler for the Teen Summer Reading Program at the library. The tumbler contains all the information necessary to participate, plus some coupons.

The summer reading program runs through July 31 with a Teen Review Raffle and Art Bingo. For every 5 hours teens read, they can submit their log and spin the wheel for prizes. They also receive an entry into the Grand Prize Drawing. The more you read, the better your chances of winning. Teens also may complete five boxes on the Art Bingo board and submit it by July 31 to earn a prize and be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing.

The Grand Prize Drawing takes place July 31. One lucky winner will receive a 20-inch Bigfoot Squishmallow, tie-dye kit, and $25 McDonald's gift card.

The library also will host a new Teen Hangout at 6 p.m. each Tuesday during June and July. The hourlong sessions will feature free snacks and various activities.
